I haven’t watched any videos of it yet but my guess is that he still did a great job. It’s been a while since I’ve watch a Today Show concert but the sound is always crappy. I even went to one years ago and the sound was not great when you were there in person.

as a perfectionist when it comes to my job, i get it. but at some point you need to let go and realise you’re a human being, not a machine.
I am someone who overthinks everything I do, and I can relate to him (especially the part where loved ones with good intentions are rushing to console you with positivity). I can’t watch rn, but I bet he really did a fantastic job even if he thinks some parts could have been “better” due to external factors. Don’t beat yourself up JK, you’re doing the best you can (and it’s amazing), my dear!!!! 💜💜💜
6-7 degrees celsius with wind chill. 🥶 I live in a tropical country so the only times I’ve ever experienced those temperatures was when I went to Japan in winter, and breathing in air that cold can actually hurt. And I was breathing normally through the nose! I can’t imagine what it would feel like on the throat while singing with a cold.
Out of all the members he’s the one I feel takes it the hardest when performances don’t go as planned, even if it’s due to forces beyond his control, so I hope his staff are there to reassure him that he’s done his best despite the circumstances and Army are happy to see him.
considering the sound issues he was facing AND he was performing in the freezing cold while still recovering AND wearing just an open shirt and suit instead of something warmer, i think he sounded incredible. i know he’s always strives for perfection but i wish he was less hard on himself 🙁

This is so weird to wake up to! I just dreamt that i was watching him perform live, and he was singing and playing the piano. I dont know what mistake he made, but he started laughing and apologizing. He was scrunching his face and doing his elmo laugh 🥹. I remember thinking, “he is going to be so hard on himself! We didn’t even notice his mistake!”
I hope he isn’t too hard on himself. I am so impressed and proud of him. He has completely gone out of his comfort zone. Not only did he put out a full english album, but he also had to do appearances and interviews by himself. He can’t avoid the mic anymore😅. As a fellow introvert, i could never. I think he has handled the pressure very well.
What I need him to understand is that I work in Rock Plaza and got up early to try and see if I could see anything, stood on the street BEHIND the stage, barely saw the back of his head and sparkly jacket, and it made my entire week.
He sounded good but I did notice something seemed off when I watched the performance. Now I know why. Poor JK.. something always seems to go wrong in NYC for him.
Is it just me or does anyone feel mama bear-ish when they’re with the American media?? BTS teaches us to see the good in everyone dont judge live without regret but also do NOT eff with them in front of me…
Being a “minority” in this country I do not trust the American media but AT ALL when it comes to them.
