The one that started it all for so many, how fast time flies
The Queen! Her longevity is insane. The way Dynamite kicked open so many doors for BTS in different countries’ markets… it’s still incredible to think about after all this time.
For those that were here when that dropped, what was the feeling around the single? Were you told any hints in advance that it would be what it was- fun, super pop, all English? I became ARMY during the promo fog the single (I hadn’t heard it but saw the magazine features, Esquire was my “I just want to know their names” rabbit hole moment).

As a fan of Michael Jackson’s performance, I love seeing his moves being shown in the Dynamite MV/choreo. And they pull it off nicely too!
This song has carried me through some really hard times, so I’m always thankful for it and it’s always gonna be one of my top faves. It deserves all the hype! 💜
This song made me an Army, not when it dropped but when I watched their Tiny Desk performance in 2021, which in turn led me to BTS’ other songs. I still remember how amazed I was when me and my sister watched it for the first time, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. I love this song so much! 💜

Lockdown got so much better after Dynamite was released
Which means I was just on the verge of rediscovering Dope and falling down the rabbit hole with no idea what was in store for me… ah, memories 🥹
It’s crazy cause I saw a huge billboard of Map of Soul tour (before pandemic) people were taking pics with them and didn’t know them, after Dynamite and pandemic started I got hooked and wish I took a picture with it! 😂

I’ve said this before, but I was *thisclose* to being a BWL ARMY. But it took until Dynamite before I actually fell down the rabbit hole.
I have no idea what day I finally decided I was ARMY, so to make things easier for myself I’ve chosen Dynamite’s release date as my de facto ARMY-versary date!!
