Hello book club of /r/bangtan! Spring is here, Spring Day is on the Melon charts, the sun is shining, and Bangtan is greeting ARMY on their Arirang tour. (Note: All links go to Giphy unless otherwise noted) Enjoy the weather if it’s nice in your area, and scream extra loud if you’re going to a show! Or just if you feel like it honestly!
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in last month’s discussion of The Vegetarian by Han Kang trans. Deborah Smith! You’re always welcome to join in here (link leads to Reddit post)!
Our pick for this month is….
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers
It's been centuries since the robots of Panga gained self-awareness and laid down their tools; centuries since they wandered, en masse, into the wilderness, never to be seen again; centuries since they faded into myth and urban legend.
One day, the life of a tea monk is upended by the arrival of a robot, there to honor the old promise of checking in. The robot cannot go back until the question of "what do people need?" is answered.
But the answer to that question depends on who you ask, and how.
They're going to need to ask it a lot.

GREAT pick. One of my favorite books of all time. This will be a good excuse to reread it!
