i’ve been doing this for a while now — even when i didn’t take the photo myself, if a moment hits me, i save it. there’s something about concert shots that other photos just don’t have. the light, the sweat, the way they’re somewhere between performing and just being themselves.

lately i’ve been stuck on this set of yoongi from the tokyo dome shows. just got back from the concert and i’m still not over it — one black and white shot of him crouching down between songs, smiling with his side profile catching the stage light. and one in color — his arm raised mid-song, lens flare blooming across his face like the stage was holding him.
