🤩 Wow!!! So gorgeous! I guess they’re putting them out in fan chant order?
Goodbye sanity….
Jin’s EQ is on another level. Really.
Was scrolling and bam! Attacked by a lethal face card 😀
these photographers need raises. the pics from just these 2 issues are phenomenal.
Jin really toes the line between humble and self-deprecating 🥲 he’s always been reluctant to praise himself but I hope he knows just how talented he is and how much he brings to the group.
Also I enjoyed the questions about him being the oldest – I always wondered how he felt about it! He says he doesn’t like his butt being slapped but I see Jungkook slapping him everywhere all the time 😂
Spiraling into insanity ! I repeat : spiraling into insanity ! I was not doing well yesterday because of Namjoon’s cover, but this… My bias is too much
As someone approaching 36 in less than a month, thank you to Brian for saying 35 is very young!
I’m super curious about the discourse around Butter, Dynamite, PTD. Jin here says that he believed their most beloved songs were their identity. I’m also thinking back to the documentary (BTS: The Return) where one of the members says that more than half the members weren’t fans of Dynamite initially. For me, this trio of songs feel more like an outlier in BTS’ discography. It makes me question how we think of identity – is identity born from how you are viewed by others, does it depend on who is viewing you, or is it more self-perception, or something you create? There’s no denying the impact of Dynamite and Butter, but I can definitely see how the success of those songs could have impacted how the members perceive the group. I can also see how Arirang feels like a return, going back to their roots as a group. I’m also thinking about RM’s interview, his frankness about still being confused about the group’s identity but that Arirang is the answer to the question of “What is BTS in 2026?” It makes me look at the lyrics to their songs from a different perspective.
I also appreciate Jin’s frankness here about being somewhat disappointed about not having writing credits but wanting to prioritize getting the album out and the tour started. I’m thinking about another interview he did, Nothing Much Prepared with Youngji, where he says that one of the reasons why they are successful as a group is because each of the members concedes what they want to do for the other members. I’m very appreciative of their love and respect for each other and what they want to accomplish collectively as BTS.
