Our mod team regularly initiates subreddit proceedings related to BTS, including projects, megathreads, and milestone celebrations. In celebration of the [613k subscriber milestone](https://www.reddit.com/r/bangtan/comments/152w48q/rbangtan_has_reached_613000_subscribers/), the Mods’ Mandatory Sleeping Hours for the 613k Milestone aka “Mods are asleep” will be celebrated today.

“Mods are asleep” is an invigorating “sub event” that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of /r/bangtan’s charm. We hope that “Mods are asleep” will bring your subreddit fun to the next level.

/r/bangtan subscribers regularly collect memes, gifs, edits regarding BTS, share them on the sub for the next 24 hours, and enjoy the chaotic reaction during this milestone event. We would like to stress that such lax measures will continue in order to prevent the missing hours towards our artists from being repeated, and our policy of no modding and leniency remains in effect for the next 24 hours.

We are excited to announce that we are organizing this event to distribute 19 (6 + 13) awards, that include premium/ad free browsing for a month and 700 coins each. This award is in relation to the “Mods are asleep” event, and is only being held in /r/bangtan for 24 hours only. You need to provide your best meme/gif/edit to be considered eligible and we will be choosing the best one.

    I love it! 613k is a great milestone to celebrate…thought we weren’t getting anything after 600k passed quietly by!

    Ah.. my least favorite time as someone who is relatively OCD and likes the cleanliness of this sub, in all its chronological glory lol. Twt is definitely my preferred space for memes and chaos

    But that’s just me– wishing fun to those who enjoy it! Haha. 613 is a celebratory milestone for sure
