jin being told off by an 11 year-old girl for cheating is something i never thought i needed to watch in my life till now 😭😂
the run editors roasting jin and yi-kyung in the subs every time they win a point against the kids and celebrated so brashly (“immature uncles were just happy they won a point”, “did they win wimbledon or something?” is pure gold. and i can see why jin & yi-kyung are friends, they are so chaotic and match each other’s energy.

Caught a Run Seokjin episode in real time after 3 weeks. I could not stop laughing at their “bad sportsmanship” haha.
Yi Kyung and Jin’s chemistry was so good! Can’t wait to see the next episode 😁😁

yi-kyung getting to go home first and jin saying that was supposed to be him 🤣 the dynamics between jin & yi-kyung are brilliant, I love their friendship!

“Don’t call me that guy. You should call me that uncle” Jin has clearly embraced honorifcs and being called old during his military service.
This was so funny as always. Jin telling the kid the trick to variety shows is playing dirty sums up his entire ethos for Run Jin!
His dynamic with Yi-kyung was great. That moment Jin jumped in his arms and then they got startled by the ball actually looked liked a scripted sketch comedy moment. Very natural comics!
And battle of the Seokjins coming up next! We didn’t see the trailer for that initially, so I think he’s been filming more episodes as these have been airing and it may go on until Hobi’s back!
Jin vs kids in 2024 was not something I expected when we were all awaiting his return, but I’m enjoying it so much every time!! 😆 It helps that he doesn’t hold back and the kids give back as good as they get! Him introducing himself as “uncle” so readily while JK found it weird for himself the other day is hilarious lol. Yikyung was amazing 😭 he matched Seokjin’s energy (and cheating) perfectly.
We got so much of “angry old man Seokjin” (iykyk) in this and I love it! I need to see the other members (Jiminie especially) reacting to him blatantly cheating against kids. My fave thing about Run Jin which is different from every other show is him going “I’m the host, of course I’ll be favored. I’m the most important one here” 😆 (he definitely plays it up but it’s hilarious because all other hosts usually try to be accomodating of their guests)

Run Jin continues to be one of the highlights of my week. Yi-kyung and the kids were a lovely addition in this episode. Watching them behave like in “bad sportsmanship” and getting scolded by kids was hilarious. It was also nice to see the tennis coach from Run BTS. I don’t know if its just me, but he seems to look younger than before.
Also, I love the pairing of Seokjin squared so next week episode is gonna be amazing.
Jin is so endearingly annoying hahahaha 😂
And I hated Yi Kyung’s character so much in Marry My Husband that I didn’t even register it was the same actor at first lol he’s so cute and funny here! Run Jin is seriously such a nice way to brighten up each week.

The bickering with the kids and the soccer celebration at each point were hilarious too.
