“When I work on a solo song, I tend to start with thoughts like, ‘It would be fun to try this’ or ‘This would suit me.’ In some ways, I don’t want to show off, but I think I write songs with the intention of somehow expressing my emotions through the song. I don’t know if my sincerity is 100% conveyed though. (Laughs)”
