>BTS will not appear at the World Scout Jamboree concert on Friday, but 800 million won ($600,000) worth of BTS photocard sets will be given out for free on the site, according to the boy band’s agency HYBE.
>The agency will be giving out 43,000 BTS photocard sets to all World Scout Jamboree participants who attend the “K-pop Super Live” concert set to take place on Friday at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in western Seoul at 7 p.m after the closing ceremony of the Jamboree.
It’s a relief they managed to avoid hvg to perform at the last minute.
I know someone from my work who’s there as a chaperone and I have half a mind to email him asking him to give me his set if he doesn’t want it 😂😂
Jokes aside, glad BH didn’t cave to rearrange the members’ schedules in the attempt for the gov’t salvage their own reputation

I’m mostly interested in this very particular piece of information tbh.

Funniest piece of news I’ve seen in awhile. But glad they didn’t bend over backwards for a badly mismanaged event that they had no control over.
It’s so funny that they were just like, *”Here, have these pcs and fuck off with your mess. They ain’t performing boo!”* 
I don’t know what the Jamboree is, but I really hope people don’t throw the photocards away.

I just watched the closing ceremony (with speeches) on [this channel](https://www.youtube.com/live/NK3ioZBGQ5w?feature=share). The weather looks good, no rain, and the scouts there seem to be in high spirits. The Secretary General of the World Scouts Association just gave a rousing speech mentioning how the challenges faced were a test of the character, values, and resilience of rhe scouts and a good learning point for them. He also sincerely thanked all the volunteers who made the event possible, as well as all the Koreans who extended their help.
Even though many of us were unhappy with the government (especially certain lawmakers) due to this incident, SK is still the boys’ beloved home, and just like in other countries there are good and bad people. Having to change plans so many times must hv been difficult for the organisers, and they, plus all the others who extended a helping hand to salvage the jamboree must be given kudos where they are due!
My son from the US scout contingent was there. He never got any BTS photocard. He got a coke poster and other items from othe companies, but no BTS photocards.
This is hilarious and the biggest FU haha. Love it
