It sounds like it has a happy mood
I caught dine, desire, siren as words.
I think this is hints for the MV? I kind of think it’ll be like Seven where it’ll be a bit of romantic (horror?!?) comedy — however — I’m still incredibly unclear if this is a love u or we’re over type of song.
Tbh I had deluded myself into thinking a short film was more actor Tae vs a mood teaser — just another day in the clown car!!

But the line below the newspaper headline reads “five tracks with a bonus…to appreciate the album’s flow, we recommend…from start to finish” it sounds like most BTS albums (including their solo works) in that in order to get the full experience, BTS always say we should listen from start to finish.

i work with a lot of super 8 film. this reminds me of the creators who use it for more than *just* home movies. especially how creative they get with their title cards and home made special effects.

Nothing about this says sweet, it actually feels a bit morbid tbh or maybe it’s the “dead” at the beginning that made me feel like that. And is that a red string of fate?
I have more questions than answers at this point. Trying not to be creeped out (i watch too much true crime) by the whole “dead” “end” “relationship becomes eternal” and hoping it really is as sweet as they say.
Eta: it’s giving vampire vibes, esp with the “feed”, red thread, “desire”. But that might just be me
Oh I LOVE this. There’s so much to discover that might be a hint, might not be a hint… but I also just really love the soundscape. It tickles my brain in a very specific, very satisfying way.

the newspaper referencing an album with five tracks and a bonus? i know that’s the same structure as layover but why would a brand new teaser for new music specifically reference an album that came out six months ago? could there be another taehyung album in the works? we know he has years worth of material in the archive and i’d be so interested to see what else he’s got cooking….

Am I tripping or did that look like Jimins hand 😭😭😭 super hyped for this, I get what people are saying about the creepy vibes, but to me that’s what makes it so interesting – you never know what to expect with these guys!!

I still think it’s more of a break up song than a love song. There’s just too many endings.
the teaser totally broke my expectations in a positive way: i love the creepy, surreal and ethereal aesthetic, which with a sad love story seems the perfect match.
it reminds me of a mix between [picon’s i was human](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4n5PNy04oIs) and [kenshi yonezu’s mad love](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xCIJJ2Rb368) mvs but tae-coded. edit: it also reminds me of nicole dollanganger’s first album, curled milk (be careful before checking her work, it contains heavy topics such as abuse).

Ok. I really like this. Visually so nice. And it made me laugh bc my joking first thought was “uhoh he broke up with Namjoon!” Hahaha 🤡only because the red thread (of fate) friends reminded me of the friends tv logo where Namjoon learned English. That pulling out to just “ends” is so satisfying to me. Mostly bc I had trouble spelling this work as a kid til I learned it ends with end. 🕵️♀️ so I’m just go with how it’s about learning something for the ones you love- (English for army, removing water cucumbers for nam pd, not always putting your Mouth on Yeontan, etc)
