It’s incredible how quickly Mexican (and visiting) ARMYs mobilized to get to the palace to see OT7 in person.
If anything, I’m glad fans who may not have been able to go to the concert got to see them.
Also I don’t know the protocol, but I found it very endearing that Jimin hugged President Sheinbaum, in addition to shaking her hand.

I am NOT embarrassed to say I cried. What just happened? Such a lovely welcome from President Sheinbaum! The amazing size of Mexican ARMY that gathered to greet BTS. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for my neighbors to the South.

I have been staring at the videos and pictures for two days straight. As a Mexican living outside my country it has made me so emotional to see my people welcoming them in such a warm and beautiful manner. The guys looked so happy and absolutely beautiful 💜

There’s something really nice about the first female president of Mexico paying respect to and taking BTS and their fans seriously instead of diminishing them because their fandom is predominately women.
They always seem to be in disbelief of their own reach and popularity. I loved how Armys came for tannies on such short notice.

Aww this is really cute! Idk if they just edited out all the parts where they actually talked but it felt like BTS was a bit nervous/not sure what to say. I’m glad they warmed up towards the end of the visit while walking outside. I’m sure seeing army on the balcony gave them a lot of confidence and reassurance as to why they were invited and are getting the royal treatment! They’re really the new king of pop!
