Just watched the video interview, and I am so glad he’s out of the box now. You can really feel the carefree attitude and vibes in his rap and personality too. Also I loved the question asking jhope about where he finds his hope from, cause I’ve always wondered about it. Hobi’s so coooool after all :0
he speaks so eloquently while being clear and direct. jhope’s mindset, aura, and vibes are just so sexy.
love how he answered the question about his “role” on the team, saying it’s just naturally who he is and doesn’t see it as a role he has to perform. what a sweetheart!!
I think this is my favorite of the one on one interviews so far. Good questions, and Hobi was very in depth in how he answered. I feel like I actually walked away with greater insight to who he is and how he sees things.
Oh Hobi. He came across so very *earnest* in this interview that it made my heart ache a bit, in a good way. I feel like Brian wasn’t able to ask as many questions because he really took his time figuring out his answers to each question. Something I found very endearing was how he would work his way through each answer, plucking out thoughts as they came to him….then always made it a point to summarise it at the end. He must have been a diligent student back in the day <3
– As someone who witnessed everything Hobi has done in his solo career since “Hope World”, Hobipalooza, and the historic HOTS tour last year, I find him to be such a driven, ambitious artist who feels like he has so much to show the world still. So the fact that he is a team player through and through, who is 💯 dedicated to BTS is so fascinating and precious to me. But at the same time, his answer about how it feels like this whole thing isn’t something he could stop even if he wanted to, because of his love and sense of responsibility towards the people it would affect, made me a bit sad and reminded me of the things they said during FESTA 2022 (*will we ever get over that?*). I really appreciate his honesty about it though. – His eyes literally lighting up when Brian quoted Arson’s lyrics to him was adorable 💜 – More and more, I’m realising how important “Jack in the box” was for Hobi to release. So many of the views he expressed here are the same as from that album. I completely agree with him that he has broken out of the box – he’s made all types of music that subverted people’s expectations, sung about love, in full English, refused to be typecast as just a dancer, or a rapper with Korean lyrics, danced his heart out and also not. I’m so proud of this man! He just continues to grow and evolve. – His answer about just finding joy in being together without reaching for the big goals echoed what everyone else has said, and I think is so IMPORTANT. I think a big part of BTS 2.0, for the boys, has been cherishing each other and being extra protective of their bond and relationship, more than anything. I’m always in awe of how they’re able to pinpoint the most important things amongst all the hubris. It reminded me of what his pottery teacher said in the docu, ***”It’s spinning, but we just need to focus on one point.”***
