Lee Sung Jin is a screenwriter and director who directed the music video for RM’s “Come Back to Me.”
Lainey interviewed Charles Melton and Lee Sung Jin about season 2 of “Beef,” and during the interview, Lee revealed how filming RM’s music video for “Come Back to Me” in Korea actually inspired the second season of “Beef.” Lee says “I had never shot in Korea before” sharing that RM called him and wanted to the video to be inspired by “Beef” season 1.
Beef has been on my ‘to watch’ list for a while and it just got moved straight to the top
That’s an interesting titbit to hear. But, is him directing the music video during the writers strike going to be okay? I don’t completely know the strike rules but I remember people being mad at some actors who either wrote something during that time even if they may not have actually filmed something or other people who went to work in the UK where there wasn’t a strike?
