Dear fellow ARMYS,

I am taking a break from bumping "NORMAL" and "Body to Body" to share this ARIRANG reaction/review by these four guys who started making BTS reaction content last year. As a new (but passionate) ARMY, I have really enjoyed their content over the past few months. They have felt like friends with whom I can revisit old content that I love and discover new BTS content that had not previously been on my radar.

Usually, I find reaction channels to be really surface-level and lazy. But these guys are so refreshingly genuine, enthusiastic, and open-minded. They always take the time to understand each song's message, read the lyrics, and decode the MVs. They learned the members' names and faces almost immediately, and have put in time to explore each member's backstories and solo artistry in addition to the group discography, which I value greatly.

I am sharing this video b/c it's a great example of how ARIRANG is being recieved by the "normies" out there (aka people outside the Kpop world who are untouched/unfatigued by Antis, fandom wars, chart anxiety, and nostalgia for past eras).

Perhaps it can serve as a "palette cleanser" of sorts to those who have gotten too sucked in to all the discourse surrounding this album. Or maybe it can provide a fresh perspective for ARMYs who aren't yet sure of how they feel about the album.

Ultimately, I hope this post encourages everyone to take a temporary step back from the negative sides of Kpop culture and just enjoy experiencing new music, even if you ultimately decide that this album isn't your cup of tea.

At the end of the day, I am just really grateful for this fandom and the sense of community it has had my life, so I want to give back by spreading positive vibes in any way that I can.

Love,

A 2025 ARMY, Yoongi-bias, and OT7 stan
