The album, the legend, the myth
My favorite Cypher, one of my fave songs (WOH was, is and will always be a bop) and my favorite Halloween dance practice.
Time does fly
This should be called debut album, as it’s their first really long album, and it’s full of masterpiece, love it to death
Embarassed gives me fluffy feeling that I haven’t felt in a long time, NO is an amazing song with meaningful lyric, etc.
That means it’s my tenth ARMYversary oh my god 😭 I’m so delighted to have been in this family so long. This dance had such a chokehold on me – I wish they still performed it.
I also remember learning how to download a vpn so I could watch the War of Hormone dance practice in my high school computer class. I never knew how far BTS and ARMY would come 😭😭
I’ve been listening to this album a lot recently. Love it so much. So full of angst and confidence. To Youth!

Wow, it’s been 10 years already? Happy anniversary to one of my favorite albums ever 💜 Joon’s verse in “Let me know” feels like it did change my life for the better, and I was never the same :’) From the incredible intro, to masterpieces all over (Rain, Let me know, Look here, Blanket kick, 24/7=Heaven being my absolute faves), this album deserves all her flowers.

They went through the toughest period making this album and it turnt out not as successful as they had hoped for. Yoongi said in this video, about their Dark&Wild album – *”It was when we learnt that hard work doesn’t always guarantee success”*.
So it’s a little bittersweet but years later, it’s one of their most beloved albums and I’m so glad. Gonna go give it a full listen and appreciate it all over again.

Dark & Wild is my #12 most listened to album *ever* on spotify and for a reason, I love this album. I still listen to it from start to finish pretty regularly, it’s got so many hidden/underrated gems! *talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference…*
While I really enjoyed them ever since they’ve debuted, I think Dark&Wild was what truly made me an ARMY. War of Hormone was my jam for that entire autumn, and I leaned the entire choreo for Danger in a weekend. What a time to be alive.
