every time we get a letter from joon, it makes me sob because his humility, sincerity, eloquence and the weight of his love for us seeps right through every single word.
sometimes i think about on why i spend so much time and love (and money) on these 7 men who are from a different country, who speak a different language, who i will never know personally, but who affect me so much (positively). after the posts we’ve gotten today, the ot7 live and now this letter, it made me realise why once again 💜
thank you for loving us joon, for waiting, and for persisting despite everything. i’m very much looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the members again this spring.

Namjoon has a rare gift for sharing his most vulnerable thoughts in a way that makes you feel seen and understood. He’s not directly reassuring, but he’s being honest about his own uncertainties and that’s a form of… closeness, companionship? does that make sense? I feel the same way about his music, too.
