I had to make an entire new account for this because my date has my other account and I don't want to accidentally ruin the surprise lol
I'm going out on my fourth date with a really wonderful girl this week. Last time she made me a really heartwarming handmade gift, and I wanted to return the favor. I know she likes BTS, she's talked about it a lot, and I know she collects the little cards with their faces on them. I know the kpop shop she buys them from because she's told me about it, and I thought maybe I could get her flowers and buy her a bunch of those card packs and put them in an envelope inside the flowers.
The problem is I don't know which one is her favorite, I only have this photo of one of the cards I managed to crop from a picture I took of her when we were on a walk. She has it hanging on her bag. It's really bad quality so I don't know if anyone could identify it but maybe it's her favorite BTS guy? If anyone knows please let me know so I can ask for his card pack at the store

That is such a cute and sweet idea!! From my view it looks like Suga? The little card holder looks like a cat to me so that tracks (when ppl put transcripts of their comments/posts/etc, his emoji is a cat). But the other side looks like a fluffy blue thing which makes me think of Koya, a character associated with RM?
So my guesses: Suga and/or RM. But you really can’t go wrong with whomever you get! I’m sure she’ll love the gesture and the effort!

Official photocards don’t come in packs, she’s pulling them from the albums she buys 🙂 you may be able to buy single cards from the kpop store
If you wanted to buy her another small accessory the kpop store may sell bt21 which is BTS’s characters. SUGA’s is shooky and looks like this 🙂

Are you near a major city with a k-pop store or a Miniso- you could also go with their paired stuffy… BT21’s shooky would be Yoongi’s character

Since she’s ARMY maybe consider getting her 7 flowers & also one lomo (unofficial) photocard of each member from the K-pop shop to go with them. BTS recently reunited after their military enlistment so ARMYs are kind of obsessed with the number 7 right now.
Thank you guys you are like detectives! I didn’t even know the blue koala thing meant a member, she told me it’s a more discreet way of showing you like BTS hahaha. I will look into the plushies and get the Suga cards, maybe one of the others if there are any

If you really wanna impress her later down the line, etsy has some amazing jewelry related to yoongi / agust d / suga (all the same guy). My best friend once got me the Daechwita dangly earrings because I am Yoongi biased and I still treasure them greatly because they’re so understated and elegant.

and go through and pull out all the ones of Suga (:D in 2022 I was stowing at Amazon and came across a 4 pack of BTS photo cards and went home and ordered them XD again, they’re not official by no means like the photo cards in the albums, but still would be fun. You could keep some back make her cute stuff too.
I mentioned it below but Yoongi recently launched the Min Yoongi Treatment Centre for children with ASD along with Severence Hospital in Seoul. You can donate in her name!
Thing is, sometimes we get cards like the lottery in the albums. Instead of just one member, how about a group picture? Or 7 individual ones. One of my friends got figurines from her crush and another one of my friends got his girlfriend a small purse.
I’d say even if you get her 7 purple flowers or even if you get glossy card printouts or postcards, or make something handmade like a bracelet, or even a funny meme collection (because there’s lore, and a lot of it) or edits, the effort is what matters.
Best of luck! It’s so nice that you’ve taken the time to do the research. But do ask her if Yoongi is her bias and maybe try to make a rap cover attempt?

I’m here for how thoughtful and sweet this is 😆❤️. That’s Yoongi! Depending on where you live, you might be able to find photo cards in a kpop shop but definitely in the albums for sure. They are random too – think like a pack of Pokémon, basketball or baseball cards.
